“A Case of Canine Kidnapping” is a set of educational modules for primary school students in Stages 2 and 3 based on Forensic Science. These modules can be completed independently of any Education Interactive workshop as the material has no direct bearing on what students will investigate during our presentations. Teachers may choose to use this to introduce their students to Forensic Science before the workshop, or use it as a follow up activity. The unit is designed to assist teachers in making progress towards some of the outcomes of the Australian National Curriculum for Science. While this is designed as an investigation from start to finish, you don’t have to undertake it in its entirety, as each of these modules can be conducted independently for a quick foray into the world of Forensics!
